ITINERARY

DAY 01 – AGRA SIGHTSEEING

You should board the cab early morning from the hotel where you are staying or the airport if you arriving in Delhi on this day. One of our representatives will greet you with beautiful flowers and introduce you with the driver who will take you on a three-hour long ride towards Agra which is our first destination of this tour. The journey on national highway will be smooth and you can take a break on the way for snacks or coffee. The driver will take well care of your comfort and you can enjoy the scenic views of rural villages on the way towards the city of Taj.

You will meet with one of our team members at the reception of the hotel who will coordinate with the staff to provide you smooth check-in facility. You might feel tired after this long journey from Delhi to Agra and you should rest for some time before starting the sightseeing tour from the Taj Mahal which is the main highlight of the city. This magnificent wonder of the world is also known as the symbol of love because it was built by emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beautiful wife after her death. You can freely spend more than two hours inside the complex to capture amazing pictures in your camera to create memories.

The splendid Agra Fort would be our next destination of this sightseeing where Mughal rulers used to live in the past. It has gone through many renovations and some places were constructed later by different rulers according to their interests. “Diwan-I-Aam” and “Jahangir Mahal” are the most important places inside this fort where every tourist clicks pictures and you should also visit “Moti Masjid” and “Nagina Masjid” if you want to explore more. Agra’s vibrant and colourful markets would be waiting for you after this sightseeing where you will get familiar with local culture after tasting some delicious dishes and sweets.

DAY 02 – FATEHPUR SIKRI

You must check-out from the hotel today after having a delicious breakfast and start travelling towards Fatehpur Sikri which is 40 kilometres away from the city center. Emperor Akbar shifted his capital from Agra to this small town but has to leave it soon due to water problems and he has built many important places here before leaving. “Buland Darwaja” and “Panch Mahal” are the main highlights of this sightseeing and you should also visit “Diwan-I-Khas” where emperor used to meet with important guests. Now, you should start travelling back to Delhi where this tour will end with some wonderful memories from Agra.
