    Varanasi is one of oldest cities in the world which is continuously inhabited and you will go on a deep spiritual journey here. Morning hours are usually safer than late nights and you should avoid going out alone from the hotel at late night. You should also avoid staying at isolated places and you should find a hotel located in busy market areas. If you need to go out then always book a taxi from a reputed travel agency and avoid contacting some random drivers. Most of these cities have Metro train for public transport that is a safe option as compared to a bus and you should also look for women only coach if available.     If you are travelling from Delhi then you can take a flight to Varanasi which is the fastest way or you can catch the Vande Bharat train which is one of the India’s fastest trains with on board catering service. There is good air connectivity between Jaipur and Varanasi but some flights might have some layover time that can be manages easily but you should avoid train journey from Jaipur as it takes long time of 17-18 hours to reach Varanasi. If you are travelling from Agra then you can also get the same Vande Bharat train that leaves early morning at 06:00 AM and take around 7 hours to reach its destination but if you want to catch a flight then you have to book a taxi to Delhi airport as there are no direct flights between Agra and Varanasi.
